The a la carte restaurant is formal and the food simply divine. The restaurant seats up to 19 people and is cosy, intimate and highly recommended. For a more informal dining experience, there is a popular brasserie to the rear which looks out on to the acres of private grounds. The brasserie has wooden tables and is all the more relaxed than the a la carte restaurant.\n\nExterior\nThis 12th century hotel is the oldest inhabited moated manor house in England. Quite simply stunning, surrounded in beautifully landscaped gardens with ample car parking at the front of the property. An elegant long drive way provides the utmost privacy.\n\nLobby\nThis is small in size and just has a small reception desk. There is a reading room to the left side, with a log fire, newspapers and comfortable sofas.
