The UK's first Indian themed hotel Opened in 1999, the rooms are in excellent condition. It is a different, and very attractive property for a visit to Edinburgh. All bedrooms are large and named after districts and aspects of colonial India. There is an attention to detail, such as a movie reel and an old film camera in the 'Bollywood' room. The bathrooms are very sumptuous and tiled with original Indian tiles.\n\nRestaurant\nThere is no restaurant, but continental breakfast is served in the lounge.\n\nExterior\nIt is a traditional Georgian building, set back from the roadside. Statuettes of elephants stand sentry at the entrance.\n\nLobby\nThe lobby is small, but cosy, and furnished with fine furniture and artifacts from India.
